A cleaner ShineMonitor dashboard, free and open source

ShineMonitor stores your inverter's readings well. The problem is getting to them: the web portal and the SmartClient app take several taps, and the numbers are hard to read on a phone.

How it works

Helio signs in to ShineMonitor's web API with your account, the same way shinemonitor.com does, and lays the data out on one screen. You host it yourself on Vercel's free plan, so nobody else, including the developer, can see your data.

Honest limits

It uses an unofficial API, so a ShineMonitor change can break it until it's updated. It shows generation, not household consumption. Every limitation is documented.

Questions

Does Helio replace my ShineMonitor account?

No. Helio reads your data from ShineMonitor with your own login. Keep your account; Helio is a cleaner way to look at it.

Will the numbers match ShineMonitor?

Yes. Today's and lifetime units come from the same inverter counters ShineMonitor shows.

Is it safe to give Helio my ShineMonitor password?

It lives only in your own Vercel settings, is used on the server, and never reaches a browser. The code is public on GitHub.
