How much is your rooftop solar saving you?
Every unit your panels make is worth money, but how much depends on where it goes.
- Used at home: you don't buy it from the grid, so it saves your full tariff.
- Exported to the grid: your utility credits you its export rate, often lower.
The formula
lowest = units × export rate (everything exported)
highest = units × tariff (everything used at home)
Example: 20 units today at a ₹7.50 tariff and a ₹2.25 export rate is worth between ₹45 and ₹150. Use more power while the sun is up and you move towards the higher number.
Track it automatically
Helio applies this to your real daily units from the inverter. Set your tariff, export rate and currency once, or tap Edit rates on the dashboard to change them on any device. It shows today, this month, this year and lifetime.

Questions
Why does Helio show savings as a range?
A standard inverter can't tell how many units you used at home versus exported, and those are worth different amounts. The range spans both cases.
What if I have net metering?
If your utility credits exports at the full tariff, set the export rate to zero in Helio and it shows a single value.
